Wash. DC - area brass shops

I’m spending a week in Wash.- DC area after Thanksgiving. Are there any brass instrument shops in the area similar to Doug Bert’s Brass Exchange, with similar inventory of used trombones? I’m aware of Baltimore Brass (which I will visit) but I’m hoping that there may be others with deeper inventory.

Thanks.

Chuck Levin's Washington Music has inventory of new horns, but I'm not sure about used. Aaron is the trombone.guy and he's on here as asmith (I think that's right).

Chuck Levins has used horns at least some of the time. If worse comes to worse, give them a blind call before going over there. Good Luck.

Thanks, Doug!

We've got a ton of new stuff right now, but not a ton of used at the moment. Shoot me a DM and let's talk!

There is also L&L Wind Shop in Gaithersburg MD...not too far from Chuck Levins that will be worth visiting

It's smaller than Chuck's but it's a great place -- it's part repair shop, part store...when you walk in you'll immediately see several people at work repairing instruments. They're working on my cornet at the moment.

Chuck's sells everything... L & L is only wind instruments and wind instrument repairs

The owner Steve, one of the repair guys, is very friendly & informative
