I notice that the bass trombone that comes with GIFF is much brighter in sound than the tenor trombone in the same. Using the GIFF bass trombone allows the full low range without major tinkering of the arcane sfz files, but in my experience as a bass trombone player, the bass usually has a darker sound than the tenor.

I couldn't make head nor tail of what he was talking about either. I was this close to disapproving it as off-topic (note that I didn't do anything).

I don't know if we could find a new rule to automatically reject this type of thing. I think it need the "human touch" yet.
