$1750 shipped conus.
Slide is a 9/10, with no dents. Yamasnot makes it perfect. Axial is extremely clean inside and has been babied with edwards oil. Dent on tuning slide and one on the flare. That’s it. Shipped in a new pro pac case.
Pics available upon request. These early yellow brass versions only come along once in a while.

Do not underestimate these Getzen trombones. They are fine musical instruments, well assembled and sturdy.
Very similar to the Edwards trombone that Joe Alessi once played, if you care.

It plays better than the Edwards tenor I tried earlier this year.

I was in Seattle for a trombone weekend a number of years ago. They had a bunch of horns out on display, including all the usual suspects. I found the Getzen the best horn of the bunch.

They’re nice. I don’t play tenor enough to have two tenors, and my wife says I already have too many basses (I don’t know how one can quantify sonic goodness), but this was the one that made sense to go. Sad. BUT for a great price.
