I've had this King 3bf i got off eBay a while back for $400 and have not had time/resources to put into it. Bell has been repaired by someone, not too pretty and has lines along it i believe from using a dent machine without finesse but I'm not too sure, someone might correct me once i post photos. Slide isn't bad, but also needs attention. The reason I have been putting this off is the fact that the threads to screw on the valve cap need to be re threaded and I don't have the skills to do that. I would love for someone to bring this horn back to life. Selling at a loss $350 plus shipping in original coffin case

Some pictures
I took it apart not knowing the situation on the valve cap threads. Cleaned it and then couldn’t put it back together, not sure how it came apart.
Might be interested. Are all the valve parts present?
Yes, all the parts have been kept in a bin and everything is there. I can put everything together except screw the valve cap on

The fact that you can’t screw on the valve cap might indicate that the valve casing is warped.

That might be, but the valve and the plate go back together. I think the threads are stripped. The valve and the slide brace are the two major problems.

If this is still available, I'm interested!
