Hello all. For sale is a Conn 36H alto trombone built in the late 1990's, serial number 5 6580xx. 7-inch yellow brass bell, .491/.500 dual-bore, and b-flat attachment. The condition of this instrument is very good! There are two areas of lacquer wear on the tuning slide tenons from storage in the case. The handslide has normal wear in the grips from use. Slide action is 9 out of 10 and the valve action is great. The entire instrument was taken apart and cleaned inside and out. Original case included with sale.

Unlike many modern day alto trombones, the Conn altos sound and feel like an alto trombone and not a small tenor trombone. The 36H was built with artistic guidance from Christian Lindberg. The slide positions make it an easier transition between tenor and alto. This particular instrument has a wonderful warm sound.
