Funny, I love my 1555 so much that I'm tempted to buy another - for no reason at all...
If you like .500 horns and haven't played a Kanstul 1555 - you should give it a try! I find it amazingly versatile.
Somebody buy this so I won't be tempted! (Yes, Steve, I mean you...LOL)

Somebody needs to buy the Kanstul 1555... you will not be disappointed... I find mine much better than a 3b and the slide is as good as a Shires. Snatch it up because I don't need a second one!!

I like it a lot I love the gold brass outer slide combined with the bell, it responds very quickly , not quite as dark as a 48h , lighter , more nimble/ malleable , it also plays very very easily like modern boutique horns do
I liked my 48h a lot as well no doubt but I think it strikes a bit of a lighter sound than the 48h , I would suspect the bell isn’t as heavy gauge as the 48h
