For sale is my recently acquired Conn 8H. Beautiful horn with the classic sound.
Elkhart bell (which looks like it may have been rebuilt at some point - the braces are larger), and a newer vintage slide with Conn threaded leadpipe. These two pieces work really well together to make an excellent horn. Slide is superbly smooth with no wear on the inner tubes.
This instrument plays easily and has a warm, resonant sound.
Comes with a newer vintage case in excellent condition, and Yamaha Peter Sullivan mouthpiece.
I would also consider a trade for a King 3BF or any other small-medium bore pro horn with F attachment. Please let me know what you have to offer.
If you want to buy, I'm asking $1200. Price includes shipping in the CONUS.
Sorry, I do not ship internationally.

Other than the bell itself, rest of the bell section looks to be a later design. Not a bad thing as I think the magic is in the older bells. GLWS
