Up for sale is my late 50's Fullerton Olds Recording R-15. This slide has a good bit of lacquer wear, but the bell is in pretty good cosmetic shape. The neckpipe is missing lacquer which is why I have the paracord on it. No major dings, dents, or evidence of major repair. The slide has the original hexadecagonal inner slide tubes, and the action is excellent. In an effort to be transparent, the slide does make a little noise in action, but I think this is due to the hexadecagonal tubes allowing a little more wiggle than a modern horn. The compression is good, if I stop the tubes and hold it vertically, the outer slide will slowly descend. If you pull it all the way off it will pop. There is a pinhole sized mark in the chrome plating on the lower stocking, but it's so small it's difficult to photograph. This horn plays really well overall, but I have found I gravitate toward my 2B or 6H, and don't play this nearly as much.
Asking $750, shipped to CONUS. Horn comes with an aftermarket case in serviceable condition. If I can find my Olds 3 mouthpiece I can include that if desired.

I can send more photos, videos, or play testing of the horn upon request.
