I honestly have no need for a valve trombone, as I doubt I ever will. But I am curious what valve section would work on a 100H bell?

Possibly a Conn 5G -- it works with a 6H. That's a 3 valve section that replaces the slide.
If you are looking for an F valve, probably nothing current.

I had a 100H for a few years. As a slide trombone it was notable nose-heavy, so I'd say proceed with caution on the valves idea. But good luck.

A Conn 5G works fine on the 100H. A Yamaha valve section can be used if you can't find a Conn 5G valve section. Although I've bought two different Conn 5G valve sections over the years, they don't show up very often, so also keep a look out for a complete Conn valve trombone.
