This is a .500 bore pro model that has since been discontinued. 8 inch bell, yellow brass. From the late 70's, early 80's. It's kind of like a nicer, souped up YSL354, or like a Yamaha 6H equivalent. Slide works nice, and comes in the original Yamaha case it came with. I bought this horn earlier this year when I was on a Yamaha kick (this was the third one I bought), all from the same era, along with a YSL647 and a YSL691. I play mostly the 691 so I figured I should let this one go. I don't think this horn was played much in it's lifetime thus far. This horn is for you if you're looking for a different route for small bore besides your classic King, Conn, Bach models. Like many Yamaha trombones, it is consistent and easy to play and blend with other horns.
