Hey Guys, after having come back playing after 45 years, I have a bought a Yamaha YSL 445G and quite a few books to assist my re-learning.
I try and get some practice in each day, and also study a bit notation so as to get my reading back (Before stopping at 15 I was RSM Grade 5).
The problem I have is I live on an Island (Tenerife) and there are no English speaking teachers here.
I'm looking for someone who does live on-line teaching, via Zoom etc that can help my progress.
Do any of you on here know of one you could recommend?
It needs to be from UK as the time difference is the same here (GMT.000).
Thanks for any reply that may help.

Hi there is a website called playwithapro.com, I think Christian Jones is on it and a few European players as well. Might be worth a look.

The time difference between Eastern time in North America and U.K. time is not that cray as to be unworkable.
There are large parts of the day where we are all awake at the same time. Don't geo-block yourself when it's not necessary.
10 AM EST Saturday Premier League games are very popular in the states for example.

VJOFan is right - dont box yourself in. Try Doug Elliot for instance. Though it sounds like you will do just fine with Fidbone - you only need one at a time... Doug

I have had Skype students from all over the world including all over Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and China. I just accommodate the time difference, no problem. I'm in US Eastern time.
