So there are two prices because you get your choice of cases- I have a brand new never used French style case that my sister found for me and the 1990's vintage case that came with the horn. $1595 makes it look like you just bought it new and $1395 is the original look

The Trombone

Seial 92,XXX- Early 90's

8 1/2 inch yellow brass bell

.547 large bore

Traditional wrap F attachment

Excellent Slide action

This horn came to me from a young man that played it as the second owner and then it sat unused for a number of years. It had the typical poor Bach lacquer on the bell and slide section. The F attachment lacquer was fine. My tech did a very nice job of gently stripping the rest of the old lacquer, polishing the metal to a nice shine and then putting a clear coat on with a light baking to set it solidly. I will promise you that the new lacquer is better looking and will last longer than the original. Slide was good but in need of a cleaning and alignment. It is now fast fee and smooth- again probably better than when it came out of the factory. This was a nice straight horn and any small dents and dings were removed except one small dent - about 3/8 inch and shallow on the F attachment tubing where it would take dismantling to remove. Only you and I will know about it- strictly cosmetic and not very.

Comes with a Marcinkowicz mouthpiece (costs about $100 these days) and your choice of case. French is completely new and the original case is solid but with a chipped exterior. The vinyl is chipped and the wood underneath has paint so it looks decent. Protects and transports the horn just fine

I can take paypal- Shipping to the lower 48 states $60- both cases are a bit heavy

Europe or Japan will cost about $100 to ship- Australia about $145
