I’m interested in Thein mouthpieces, but there’s no information about sizes. Is there a chart or anything to describe the sizes?

Well that seemed easy to find.

I guess it might depend on how you measure it, but I thought Schilke 59 was around 28.5mm. 27.8mm seems more like a 58.

I don't think that's what they're saying. "The B model has a 27.8mm rim. Meanwhile, the JE model has the rim contour of a S59, expanded to the diameter of a S60."

Well, if so, it's completely confusing.

Perhaps Thein, like Marcinkiewicz, measures Cup I.D. differently than Bach or Schilke or Doug Elliott? :idk:
Tough to standardize on the curved surface of the Cup rim.

I would recommend getting to a show to test them.
They play pretty different to most mouthpieces I’ve played in the past.
I’ll self promote (I don’t get paid if you buy one haha!)
I don’t have the exact measurements of My piece (the KG/B)sizing wise it’s like 1G with a deeper cup and open backbore. But for me it feels big without actually feeling oversized.
Sorry if that’s not much help but whenever I see Thein conversations I wanna hop in
