FS: Bach New York Model 6 Vii **SOLD**

For sale is a gorgeous Bach New York Model 6 Vii Trombone. The specifications are as follows: 7-inch yellow brass #440 bell, .485 slide bore, #412 mouthpipe, .522 slide crook, .721 large nickel silver tuning slide tube, #431 tuning slide bow, .562 small nickel silver tuning slide tube, #411 gooseneck.
The photos tell the story of this instrument. Bell dents have been removed in the past. There is miscellaneous lacquer wear from use and some very small pings on the bell and one on the slide crook by the water key. I did have the instrument chem cleaned recently. The inner slide has a very small area of discoloration which will probably turn into an area of chrome loss in the future. Slide action is pretty good, but could be improved by a good brass repair tech with a tweak to the alignment. Comes with a fully functioning vintage case with key. I don't think this is a Bach case from the era.
If you are familiar with the Bronx, NY Bach trombone from this period, these small horns play a lot bigger than they look. With the larger specifications versus the other versions of the Model 6, this instrument plays incredibly warm.
