Edwards Trombone unknown parts?

I'm using this Trombone for many years but still don't what this parts for. Anyone know? :)

Did you buy it new? It's for a screw, to hold the f attachment firmly. I don't have an Edwards, but there are two matching screw holders like that on my Getzen. So it looks like you have parts from two different instruments.

Thanks! I didn't know that. I bought the used Instrument don't know what that for. Thanks again

The tab is from a pre-edge-bracing horn. They switched over to how it’s braced maybe 10ish years ago (longer?). It’s easy to remove if you don’t have an older valve or if you have an older valve and would prefer edge bracing.
