Hi folks!

On a whim I bought an old Bach 50b corp from a local shop here. It plays well, except for the second valve. Very stuffy! I inquired about opening it up or moving things around, and I was told that this particular model at this time of production just didn't get it right. The tech recommended I look for a new valve section instead of trying to make it work through modifications.

So, just wondering if anyone has a spare valve section lying around - dependent or independent are both fine for me. This is a back up horn for me, but I love how it plays aside from the second valve so I'm interested in getting it to work well all over. If it ends up being too complicated I might try selling it for cheap since it might be a nice project horn for someone.

I forgot to mention that there is a Giardinelli stamp on the side of the second paddle. Does anyone know if that dates the horn perhaps? Just curious.
