New X-wrap bass trombone?

I doubt this is an actual thing, but what if there was a bass trombone by Bach that would have an X-wrap (much like some of their artisan and Peter Steiner models) for both valves?

It'd probably be a ridiculous looking instrument, but I'm told that the tenor is quite resonant because of the wrap and the bracing involved in it. What do you guys think of a bass like that?

I really didn’t like the Steiner model, i think the wrap really is for visual effect. There’s a Steiner model that’s been getting bought and sold over and over again on facebook, seems like it doesn’t fit many people.

The shape of the valve wrap has very little to do with how resonant the instrument is. How well the entire bell section is assembled has "much" more influence on things.

Might be hard to get an X wrap small enough for Gb.

I suppose that's a fair point

A much cheaper option is to ask for your initials in a wrap... in a sandwich shop!
