Butler mutes are made from a combination of carbon fiber and 3D printed CF/nylon, making them lightweight, durable, and infinitely adjustable.

One of the unique features of this mute is its flexibility. The cup part is 3D printed CF/nylon, making it virtually dent-proof. The cup is also removable, so you have a straight or a cup mute. Plus, with the use of velcro strips, the corks can be adjusted up or down to fine-tune the sound to your liking.

Another great feature of this mute is its weight. At only 120 grams, it's much lighter than the classic stone-lined mute, which weighs 150 grams, and aluminum mutes, which are over 200 grams. Even the bass trombone cup/straight mute weighs in at only 172 grams - half the weight of most other bass trombone mutes!
