My tech tells me it’s very difficult to order parts from Conn/Selmer these days. He tells me other techs are experiencing the same thing.

Anybody know anything about problems ordering parts from C/S?

They've always been a pain, but I'm fairly certain they either don't have anybody managing repair parts at Eastlake and Elkhart, or have an interim manager. Both factories have a repair parts management position posted for hire.

The "supply chain" is Conn-Selmer!

Still matters. If they are trying to meet demand for new orders of instruments, they won't have the capacity to meet demand for the backlog of extra parts. Same story everywhere.

Know anyone who wants a "repair parts management position" in Ohio or Indiana?

They'd be providing a service to the brass community!
