Courtois 421 thumb rest?

I just got my Courtois 421 Newyork model, but the thumb test part couldn’t stop moving even when I re-tighten all the screws. The thumb rest collides with the valve trigger which causes me can’t press the valve. Any solutions? ( I tried my get a grip and Yamaha trombone strip, but doesn’t fit well on Courtois)
