Hi Will,

I am new to Trombonechat too.

I'm a 4th-generation Floridian who grew up in the rival town of Gainesville, Florida.

However, I have high respect for the College of Music at FSU and some of the most exciting brass memories I have from my childhood in Gainesville are when the Florida A&M Marching Band came to town each year for the University of Florida's Homecoming parade. I'll never forget the super fast guillotine moves of the trombone section as their slides swung over the alternating bent heads of their bandmates LOL !

That sounds like fond memories as I’ve had many as well in my 55 years of playing trombone.
