i was looking at this listing the other day and it's kind of wild they put that the preffered qualification is to already be employed by the New School. I've not seen one before that is so directly clear about wanting an internal hire. wild

So they are just checking the block in the most lazy way possible for "equal opportunity" laws and then hiring the person that they already had in mind.

"Oh it says here that you aren't already employed by the New School. We weren't aware of that. Could you tell us why?"

"But I...."

"That'll be about it, I think. We have these EO policies in place because we know there is a wide pool of talent out there. But because of that we get bozos like you coming off the street thinking they can work here when they already aren't. Next!"
