This is the small shank version of the Hammond Jay Friedman.
Looking to rent and/or buy one
Anyone with experience comparing this to Hammond 10M small shank is appreciated

Not the F1S, but I have experience comparing Friedman models to their standard Hammond counterparts & I have found the same result with each of the following:
12S - FA2
12L - F3
The standard Hammonds tend to get a very open brilliant sound - Everything balanced well.
The Friedman Hammonds tend to get a more direct, prettier, thinner sound - Articulation & high range is more difficult.
