Here is a beautiful King 3B silver sonic straight trombone. Made in 1977, used for two years, and then put in a closet. I bought it from the original owner and have used it sparingly. The bell is sterling silver with gold-wash on inside of bell. Bell is perfect condition - no dings, no scratches. The slide has some light lacquer loss around the locking ring. Otherwise, like new. Case is an identical but non-original case (from 1981).

Okay... a correction.
I was a bit rosy with my above description of the slide. There is some lacquer wear around the locking ring - yes - but also around the mpc receiver and touchpoints on the braces, etc. The photos show them clearly. Slide action is excellent but there is a small amount of scratchiness that is common with nickel slides. It is very pleasing to play, but it is there.
As for the bell? I will stand by my description that it is AWESOME!
