Okay, so is it my imagination, or is the trombone section behind George Roberts hitting their bells with spoons at 00:59?

To me this sounds like the drummer's hitting the bell of the cymbal. The bone players probably "make show" <span class="emoji" title=":wink:">😉</span> .

It's kind of hard to see but I think they're hitting either a mic stand or something that's actually in front of them.
