Yamaha 620g bass bone

Looking for opinions on the 620g bass from those who play or have played one? It seems to be a great value horn.

I currently play a Doug Yeo 822g so any direct comparisons would be great.

I was able to compare my 620G with an 830 and 822 before I bought it. It was more responsive than the Xenos, with a slightly darker sound. Easier to play. Lighter, too. Don’t know how it would stand up in a high volume situation.
