3B lightweight slide

On a 3B lightweight slide, is it made lighter by simply

leaving off the sleeves? Do these slides have thinner nickel silver?

Are they more ‘delicate’ or prone to damage from slight bumps?

How much lighter are they?

I appreciate responses from anyone who’s familiar

with the lightweights.

They don’t have oversleeves. Not sure about the thickness.

Thanks- local music shop said yes, also lighter gauge

outer tubes.
