*SOLD*

Selling: A Bach 42B, yellow brass with lightweight nickle-silver slide, traditional wrap, in excellent condition.

42XXX, manufactured around 1980.

I am the 2nd owner; it was very well cared for by the original owner and myself. There are two small surface dings in the bell flare barely visible below the engraving and minor lacquer wear at the contact points. No signs of repair. All original except for the much-improved linkage by Todd Clontz, making the trigger action quiet and maintenance-free. (Except for normal lubrication, of course.)

Slide is in good alignment, dent-free, clean, no wear on inners, and works great. I would rate it a 9.

It plays as a good 42B should - rich tone, easy response, even through the registers, and brightened up a bit with the nickle slide.

I am only selling because I have more horns than I use, including another 42(BOG/Lt) that I'm more attached to because I bought it brand-new.

(Update) I can include a Bach 6 1/2A mouthpiece. I have the original case, in great shape, that I totally re-did the interior on so there is a large storage compartment. Or, a brown fabric Reunion Blues gig bag, older but in good shape, with the slide holder on the side. (O style???) Your choice.

If someone can pick it up in the central Jersey area, I will include both!

$1775. plus shipping, CONUS only. I only accept PayPal and will cover the fee.
