Hey all,

For sale is a Conn 30H “Burkle” built in 1940, serial number 329xxx. Yellow brass construction, 7-inch bell, duo bore .494/.507. This instrument is all original. There is spotty lacquer loss and the lacquer was removed from the gooseneck. There is a dent on the bell flare you will see in the photos and a few small pings on the bell. Looks like there were dents removed from the tuning slide years ago. There is wear to the inner stockings you will see in the photos. Just had the slide chem cleaned and adjusted so it will take a period of time playing before the true slide feel is present. The slide action is free. Original case included and in very good condition. One spring is broken on a latch. Includes the original cleaning rod and lyre.

2B or not 2B? Some people see the 30H as the answer to the King 2B. But, the King 2B was not produced until the late 1930’s, whereas the 30H was first built in the early 1930’s alongside it’s “bigger brother” the 32H. This particular horn has a sweet, velvety, fat sound throughout all the registers well-suited for playing lead trombone or combo work.

Price is $795 with shipping in the United States included, payment by Paypal. International buyers welcome! I have ways to keep your customs tax low. For international buyers I will need to calculate shipping before final price. Message me if you have any questions, would like additional photos, video of the instrument, or interested in purchasing. Thanks!
