Hello all!

I was thinking about some of the horns I've tried over the years and remembered one of the first horns I bought for myself, a Bach 50BLG with a custom F valve wrap. I sold it around 2018 and saw it go up for sale again about a year after that but I was curious where it ended up and if anyone's seen it kicking around recently! I always thought the wrap was neat and remember it playing pretty well.

I've attached some photos for reference.

Really curious about this one so any info would be appreciated!

Yes, the wrap is very much in a German style. What I find strange about the horn is that the mouthpiece receiver side is apparently made of what started as the inside slide flange brace from the lower slide. Take note how the mouthpiece receiver has the model number and serial number. My questions are:

1. Did the horn have different serial numbers on each side of the slide?

2. What is that brass thing sticking out of the mouthpiece receiver? Is it a leadpipe or is it a chunk of the original inner slide tubing from the bell side?

Just trying to figure what I am seeing!
