I'm selling a Benge 290 Bass Trombone. The serial number on the bell is 40-280XXX. Benge bass trombones are solid instruments. Sporting a 9.75" Gold Brass bell, .562 bore slide, and a Gb extender for the second valve, this horn gets a solid core and great tone. I've always been impressed with the 290 and never understood why it didn't fly high in the market when it was released. Ultimately, this horn is in great shape and plays like a professional instrument. As you can tell, it has been relacquered at some point in its life. The valves work well and blows nice and open. Slide is smooth, 9/10. Perfect for a collector or someone needing a great bass trombone that is a solid build. Comes with a ProTec soft case and Gb Extender. Been cleaned and serviced.
