FS: Yamaha 683G .525 horn - JP Torres!

Here is a fantastic medium-bore trombone by Yamaha. YSL-683G. .525-bore, gold brass bell, nickel slide. Plays like a dream. Slide action is excellent and inners look great. Case is in excellent condition. Non-original but it is the correct case for the horn.
This horn also has some history. This horn was bought new in 2002 by Juan Pablo Torres - the great Cuban trombonist. He used it for most of his playing and recorded his last two albums on it. It definitely soaked up some of his special mojo! After his death in 2005, it was acquired by his friend and Miami salsa player Luis Flores. I bought it from Luis a few years ago. $900 + shipping

NOTE: For those of you who don't know about JP Torres, you should check him out. A phenomenal player who is often described as the best trombonist to ever come out of Cuba. He recorded a bunch of CDs and every one I have is superb.
