Does anyone have experience with the Jiggs short length vs standard length tuning slide? I have a 90's 2102 Jiggs. Not sure if it's the same tuning slide as a 2b or the special short length version.

Rear braces are around 2 7/8" center-to-center with the tuning slide closed on a standard 2B. (Lower TS leg is basically that same length.) I'm sure it varies a bit with generational jig changes.
If yours is significantly less, either you've got the shorty slide or someone cut down a stock one, which adds up to the same thing.

Jiggs might have his tuning slide cut down. He always plays basically with the tuning slide all in. His first position is VERY far out, I guess near the second position for some players. So you can also see him playing Ab in first position in tune with slide vibrato. So, maybe someone tried what Jiggs does.

It's a stock model... the 2BL is the Jiggs 2B with a standard length slide, and the 2BLS that he plays comes with a shorter tuning slide
