Hah. Have to be careful buying storage. Super common problem these days is to basically have the part of the hardware that declares how large it is to lie to the OS. It'll happily accept writes, even >100%. Everything works great! Until you go to retrieve data that's now be overwritten because the hardware dutifully keeps writing. Fun fact, you can actually write an infinite amount to such bogus storage devices, because they will never send the signal that they are full!

Yeah, that's probably bogus. The real one is on Amazon for $10 more -- so probably okay.
