Trombone was owned by an advanced student who used it for all-states, nationals, and university. I have also played it, and I think it is solid. It has a dark and weighty sound, good intonation, and even response.
The tuning slides all move smoothly. The valve works well and doesn’t feel particularly stuffy.
There are scratches and lacquer wear throughout but no dents except for a small crease (pictured) in the bell flare. It doesn’t affect the sound and could be removed cheaply (if you offer me full price, I can have it done before I send the horn). The slide is ok. There is a tiny ding (pictured) about 6in below the mouthpiece receiver that makes it a bit sluggish but still usable. This would also be quite easy/cheap to remove, and I think the slide would be good afterwards (I can also have this done).
It comes with the original case, but its in pretty bad shape.
Asking $1000 + $150 shipping
If shipping is more than $150, I’ll refund the difference.
