Glantz bar lubrication and setup

I just took delivery of a Holton TR-180 with the Glantz bar system.

There‘s a small chance that the trigger setup might just work for me, first impressions are that I‘d at least like to give it a go for a bit. It‘s a candidate to become a project horn anyway but for now I want to try it out.

Does anyone have a suggestion on which lubrication products to use? It‘s mainly about the plastic square part attached to the end of the Glantz bar with a hole in the middle, which a metal rod slides through when the 2nd valve is activated. For the rest of the valves/linkages I‘ll just use my usual regime.

The square guide on mine never needed any lubrication. The plastic (Delrin I think) is very hard and not draggy. The rest, as you say, just routine care.

I had a "Kleinhammer" Holton Model 169 that incorporated a "Glantz Bar" and it never required any kind of lubrication. As vetsurginc noted : "The plastic (Delrin I think) is very hard and not draggy.". I loved mine !
