The 42 bell is SOLD.

The sale ad says it all. These are project bells that have sat around and developed a little patina.

Both came to me with some of thew finish scuffed and/or finish removed by re-configuring the bells.

The only difference with 36 and 42( SOLD) bells is the trim of the flare, 8' for a 36 and 8.5 for a 42.

I would take more pics for someone who is serious. Either bell would be fine the way they are.

Before the questions start, I don't have an open much on what the playing characteristics are, etc. I have played bass bone for decades and I am about as sensitive to such things as a brick. :idk:

I played the 36 bell for a while with a .509-.525 slide and a 7ish mouthpiece. I think it let me brighten my sound to fit in better with the smaller equipment jazz brass players I was working with at the time. Again... :idk:

I'm selling because these bells are sitting around while I play a bell I like better...
