Here's my new recording of Moon River as arranged by Jacob Collier.

17 tracks all in various tenor and bass trombones.

Enjoy!

Collier's interesting[1] treatment of tonality notwithstanding, "various tenor and bass trombones" is perhaps my new favorite instrumentation. Bravo - very cool recording!

[1] And challenging, in a good way!

Alan,

Welcome back to TromboneChat. Many of us in Southern California have been the beneficiaries of your willingness to generously share your knowledge and talent. [It's your fault that I enjoy playing an AR Resonance mouthpiece!]

The Moon River recording is a wonderful display of your versatility and musicianship (and Jacob Collier's arranging skills). :good:

I'm looking forward to further posts from you.

That's a whole lot of trombone.

I can imagine an ambitious trombone ensemble somewhere being quite eager to take this on.

Do you have a new CD? I have the Hoyt's Garage CD's, but more would be welcome.

Alan's newest CD is "More Secrets of Hoyt's Garage" which also has very very beautiful tracks. It's also available on some of the common streaming platforms.
