Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if there’s anything new on the beginner method book scene, besides the usual band methods? Would love to hear your go to books for getting a student started in 1-1 or small group lessons and progressing from there.
I’ve used the Charles F. Gouse books in the past but they can be a bit uninspiring for some students. I like Michael Davis’ Brass Buzz and Just Add Trombone books for some fundamental warm ups and solos, but looking more for comprehensive methods.
Thanks!
