Conn 6H trombone for sale. Serial number 680xxx puts date of manufacture in 1957. Basic specs are 0.500" bore, 8" bell.

I bought this horn from another forum member in July when I was looking around for something smaller to play than my go-to horn. Ultimately I found another small-bore horn that better suits me and my playing style. Now this one is just sitting in the basement, and it deserves to get played more.

This is a lovely horn and I liked playing it, especially the slotting of notes like G/Ab above the staff. I felt like I blended well with the other Conns in my community band, but could also push to cut through when needed. I'm not the best person to judge slide speed, but it was plenty fast for my "enthusiastic amateur" playing. The previous owner spent some time working on the slide, and said he would rank it 6.5/10 or better. There is some Conn wear on the stockings, which I've shown in the photos.

It also has the original tweed case, which shows some of its age on the edges of the outside but is quite serviceable and worked just fine for a plane trip for me last Fall.

Asking $600. This is a "thinning the herd" action so I am not interested in trade offers. I'm willing to ship to CONUS at buyer's cost, and have plenty of packing materials to ensure the horn will be safe on its journey to you.
