This instrument came to me in a trade 6 months ago. It's a beautiful and lightly played (previous owner said he had it for a year) King 2B Liberty, restored by HN White company, excellent vintage, with the black lacquer finish and brass engraving knockout. If you've not played on black lacquer you'll find these horns super strong on core, and darker on overtones. It's a great player, with a screaming upper register and big sound in the middle, but I have been committed to Silvertones and Silversonics forever, so even if eye-catchingly beautiful and very nice for all sorts of jazz and pop music I'd be happy to pass this on to someone who might enjoy it more. Tonight I see a couple of these at the HN White E-Bay site, listing for $2550 and $2800. The trade I did was for a horn I valued at $2000, and I'm happy to let this go for that,. I can include CONUS shipping. It's in a good condition gig bag now but I had other cases that can be discussed, including an excellent condition 100th Anniversary Silversonic coffin case. Email me for pictures, serial, other details if serious. We can talk trade if you've got something silver, sterling or plate, that you are looking to move.
