Selling a horn for a friend: a beautifully-patina-d (lacquer challenged? in any case, I love it) Courtois bass trombone. Single bore slide, Hagmanns, yellow bell, light brass slide with yellow crook.
Great playing horn, another take on the Bach style bass but in a different direction than Shires or Edwards. More malleable, more ability to change articulations.
First valve paddle/linkage were modified by John Sandhagen for shorter throw.
Used for a year of grad school, many auditions, and freelancing. Simply surplus to needs- my friend also has a Schagerl! (hello tax season).
Includes rest bar and well-worn Bonna copy case.
$3800
