I have for sale a well loved Conn 79H made at the Elkhart factory. I picked this up in very rough condition. That being said it is in much better condition. The slide is actually in great shape, there is no chrome wear like on almost every vintage Conn. The slide is excellent, silent and fast. The valve is also in great shape, no real damage and the compression is good. The tuning slide has had many dents taken out, same goes for the bell. Overall a great horn, plays fantastic and is has an interesting sound. This is .522 bore and 8 inch bell, I would think of this as more of a bigger small bore. Has great feedback, would be a killer horn in a commercial setting.
