Just saw that Mercari recently announced zero selling fees. Do you folks think that this platform will now be a viable venue for horn/instrument sales?

Maybe. So they aren’t charging fees for selling something… just for adding/withdrawing money from your “balance?”
So basically it’s like if PayPal decided to stop charging a seller’s fee for Goods and Services, but charge fees for the buyer to add money to their account to pay the seller, and for the seller to send the money they receive to their bank account.

There is no such thing as "free."
