What’s a better Schilke 59?

I’ve spent time on the Schilke 51, 59, 60 mpcs. There are things that I like about them, but they always feel a bit raw. The Symphony Series equivalents feel a bit more refined, a bit more modern.There is no SS 59 however.
What would one suggest as a better Schilke 59 (in the way the Yeo was intended to be a better 60?)

I played a mouthpiece that size for a long time, and there were precious few options. Now there are many.

By specs, your 100% right, my 850 sizes would be right, but since all my stuff tends to feel larger than the specs, I'd virtually guarantee the 800 sizes would feel right. I suggested Paul's pieces because the rim width will be closest.

Pickett 1.5S (a little smaller in diameter based on my sample size of 1, but NOT Bach 1½G sized) or 1.25S (might be about right or a bit bigger). The M cup would be deeper than a 59, I think. You can also choose rounded or "classic" (flatter but not too flat, with a defined inner bite) rims.
(Pickett makes Shires mouthpieces, so it's not unreasonable to assume that the Pickett S cup is similar to Shires MD, M to D and D to XD, respectively.)

I would not assume that. Both lines were designed before that agreement, though Pickett did make some tweaks to the earlier Shires designs.

I know that how the mpc feels to the individual is different from specs.
I, too, played a 59 for years, and then a DE LB112 K8 for years. My personal experience was that the Griego GP and Griego 1 felt larger than both the 59 and the 112, but not as large as a 60. I played the Ferguson JR for some time, which also felt to me in the range of a 59 or a 112 rim. It has a wide, comfortable rim.
I’m currently playing a Markey 87 or a GB 1 5/16 for the larger, louder, lower stuff.
Sometimes, a mouthpiece rim feels like it’s in the same zip code as another, but not the same ballpark. The exception that proves the rule: Dodger Stadium has its own zip code.

I know some of you are looking for an alternate (Better? More "modern"? ...) to a Schilke 59. But if you want to try/compare to the real thing, I have a pristine Schilke 59 bass trombone mouthpiece for sale. At a very reasonable price:
