Tomorrow morning, April 21st, many thousands of runners will be taking part in this years London Marathon, but it should be easy to spot Nathaniel Dye amongst the vast crowd. He's the one playing the trombone!

Yes, he is running 26.2miles whilst playing his trombone. He is doing this to raise money for the Macmillan Cancer Support charity. He has chosen to do this because he is suffering from terminal cancer.

We wish him well.

Cheers

Absolutely.

We even have one of the people from our home running tomorrow. So if you see a Yank named Holly, say hello.

He is using a green P bone. Light weight and it will last forever.

I've run 21 marathons in my life, and I cannot imagine playing trombone through one, or even carrying one the whole way, even if I was perfectly healthy and not suffering from cancer. Good on him. If I could be there, I'd be cheering him on.

Won't last forever. I have a plastic trombone (Cool Wind) and the inner slide is wearing out from friction with the outer.

Still, good on him. I'm going to ask my friend if she saw him when she gets back next week.
