Ergobone keeps slipping

I'm using an ErgoBone on my contra and it really helps, except that it's constantly slipping up and around the cork barrel. I'm not keen on tightening the screw any more as I think it's pretty tight. I'm using the silicone sleeve that came with it.
Suggestions?

i had the same problem with mine. I never found a real solution... just constantly adjusted the horn angle before playing.

Sandpaper the silicone to roughen it a bit.
Then apply this tape on the brass (The adhesive is removable without damaging the lacquer):
