This King Liberty has a serial number 170188 which dates it around 1933 or 1934. It is entirely silver plated and fairly dent free. The engraving on the bell is beautiful and attractive. The inside of the bell is a gold wash. The slide is about a 6 but I'm certain a good repair man could make the action much better. There is a slight wear mark halfway down the slide but the inner stockings do not show wear. The slide crook is in excellent condition. This horn does not have a slide lock or threaded tenon.

The case is not original but it holds and fits the horn nicely.

I think this instrument was the predecessor to the famous King 2B but does not have the duel bore. It does play very similar to a 2B.

I am asking $350 O.B.O. plus shipping charges

I have a silver plated 1940 King Liberty and after some mi or work by my tech, it's a wonderful playing horn that looks gorgeous.

Personally, I think you're under pricing that horn.
