Bass trombone rotor sharp edge

My new bass trombones second rotor has a sharp edge that cuts into my neck as I play, are there any neck guards that cover both rotors? The ones I have found either are for tenor trombones or only cover the tubing, not the rotor.

What model is it? Can you describe what exactly is causing your discomfort?

Unfortunately you will need some more posts before you can post pictures or I'd ask you to post a picture showing what is causing your problem.

Yes, there are leather covers for many types of valve sections. Not all, but many. Leather Specialties used to offer a ton of different patterns, but you won’t find them on their website.

If it's actually cutting into your neck (i.e., breaking the skin), that's a significant defect. Since it's a new horn, whoever you purchased it from needs to make it right.

Per their user info, it looks like they have a "Schiller bass trombone + stock mouthpiece". I'm not sure which Schiller they have, but that unfortunately may be par for the course in terms of fit and finish. Best options would be to have the sharp edges covered.

I'd have the valve caps machined a bit smoother by a tech.

This came with my R9. No maker that I can see. Looks like what you would expect from Leather Specialties. English?
