Monke Contra Bass Trombone. Made after WWII by Wilhelm Monke, the son of Josef Monke, made in Germany. Very well known German instrument maker. Has been in the U.S. for a number of years and was sold through Brass Ark to a pro player who is an expert on Contra Bass Trombone. The first partial in first position is pedal Bb, and goes down to BbBb. When the valve is engaged, first position plays pedal F and goes down to FF. Is in very good condition except for a ding on one of the F wrap tubes. Includes original case and a Bach contra bass mouthpiece.
